The Surface Duo 2 is the second generation Surface mobile device, introduced as the successor to the original Surface Duo by Microsoft at their Surface Event on September 22, 2021.[1] It was announced by the company alongside Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 8, Surface Go 3 and a bunch of Surface accessories.[2] Preorders began on September 22, 2021 and will be released on October 21st, 2021 starting at $1,499.99. [3] The Duo 2 is powered by Android 11 with a Microsoft Launcher running on top of it.
