Safari is a freeware web browser that had been developed by Apple Inc. The first beta for Windows XP and Vista was released on June 11, 2007, and was also ported to iOS. However, it was found to be buggy and was updated days later. Safari was criticized for failing to keep pace with some modern web technologies. The Windows version did not gain significant market share and was discontinued after the last release, 5.1.7 for Windows 7, on May 9, 2012.[1]
