About
The Microsoft Wiki Affiliation program was launched on January 23, 2013 by former Microsoft Wiki bureaucrat, Gboyers. It's main purpose is to help wiki communities grow by sharing their user engagement traffic throughout all of the affiliated wikis that are connected via this program. This page explains the overall process that are required inorder to qualify to becoming an official affiliate of the Microsoft Wiki.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us beforehand. All questions are accepted and will be answered accordingly.
Affiliate Prerequisites
1) You must be an administrator from the wiki
Ensure that you're a contacting administrator or a bureaucrat from the specific wiki that had filed for an affiliate request with us. This way it guarantees and verifies that we're speaking to the administration of that particular wiki.
2) The wiki must not be duplicate/inappropriate
The wiki itself should not be a clone of any other wikis on Fandom nor should it be inappropriate. If we find out that's the case, your request will be turned down automatically due to Fandom's wiki creation policy and their TOS being very explicit of so.
Requesting Process
1) Give us your wiki's logo/wordmark
Before submitting your request with us, ensure that you're to use the default wordmark or logo that had been used on your wiki prior (preferred). Your file submission must be in the ".png" or ".jpg" formats, as it must be readable by Fandom. This also makes it easier for us to upload it without conversion.
2) Tell us what your wiki's website link is
Another thing that you want to make sure, is that you provide us the link to your wiki because we will need to know what your wiki contains and verify it. We don't want to be searching all over the Fandom platform just to find your wiki, it will simply make your request longer to process.
NOTE: We will NOT be accepting fishy links that aren't from your wiki that you've requested for. These requests will be turned down automatically.
3) Submit the request
Once you're ready and have all the required details above prepared, click on the button below and leave a message on the wall with your finalized submitted request. You should expect a response within 24-72 hours of the request submission being made.
Please do not contact other admins aside from Mr.Follow, as they are not responsible for handling the affiliation requesting procedures.

FAQs (Frequently asked questions)
What happens if my request gets turned down & denied?
We rarely do turn down submissions. Atleast 99% of the time, any genre of wikis that you're a part of will be accepted into the program including wikis with smaller communities. But if we ever have to turn you down it's most likely because it had violated FANDOM's TOS, wiki creation policy, or you're not following the requesting process, etc.
Why have you removed one of your wiki's affiliates off the homepage?
Rarely we do this but usually when we do, it's because either we or the affiliate terminates/leaves the program. Which all affiliates can do, all wikis aren't obligated to stay forever if the program no longer meets their needs however.
But wait! I disagree with the decision made on my request submission.
You can always appeal at anytime. Appealing could be done by following up on the existing request with your reasoning on why the decision made by us was wrong and how it should be changed to be approved.
When will my wiki be on your homepage/affiliates list
Upon us accepting the affiliate request, we will update it within 24-72 hours. We try our best to do it as earliest as possible, but we expect your wiki to do the same thing during this time to ensure your request is completed on time.
