Microsoft Office 3.0 is the second major release of Microsoft Office for Windows and the third on the Macintosh, preceding Microsoft Office 95 and 4.2, respectively. Office 3.0 was released by Microsoft on August 30, 1992, omitting version 2 for Windows entirely.
