Microsoft Adventure was a text-based adventure game written by Gordon Letwin of Softwin Associates and released on floppy disk by Microsoft in 1979.
History[]
Microsoft Adventure was based on the Colossal Cave Adventure game written by Will Crowther for the PDP-10 mainframe computer. It was first released for the Apple II and TRS-80 in 1979. A DOS version for the IBM PC was released in 1981.[1]
Gameplay[]
The goal of the game is to find a cave filled with gold and treasure. The player can move around in the world and interact with it via simple four letter commands.
