ISO 8859-1

ISO / IEC 8859-1 is a standard character encoding from the ISO 8859 family, oriented mainly to the representation of Western European languages (listed below). Standardized in 1998, it is the basis of eight-bit bit-used and used bit sets, such as Windows-1252, and coincides with the first character block of Unicode.
