Hold 'Em is a computer game developed for Microsoft by Mobicore. It based on the card game Texas hold 'em.
Hold 'Em was released as part of Windows Ultimate Extras, alongside the general release of Windows Vista. It is available to download for users of Windows Vista Ultimate.
The art style of the game matches the style of the built-in card games in Windows Vista, made by Oberon Games. The same cards and backgrounds can be used in Hold 'Em.
Overview[]
The objective of the game is to build the best poker hand you can from the 2 cards you are dealt and the 5 community cards. Bet each time cards are dealt. To win, collect all the chips.
When you first open the game, you can select one of three difficulties - Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. This can be changed in the Options menu. You can play against up to five computer opponents, and can change the names of all five opponents.
All players will start with 1000 fake gambling money.

It was announced that Hold 'Em, alongside Microsoft Tinker, would be released again for download in Games for Windows - Live. It is unknown if Hold 'Em was released.
