Database Engine Tuning Advisor Overview
The Database Engine Tuning Advisor (DETA) is a tool for Microsoft SQL Server that enables database tuning. It can improve performance for queries by tuning the indexes, and creating, modifying, and deleting partitions and indexes.
It can be configured to enable online or offline tuning.
