
DOSbox is an emulator program that emulates an IBM PC compatible computer running an MS-DOS-like environment. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, among other platforms.
History[]
DOSbox 0.1 was first released on January 31, 2002 and is free software written primarily in C++ and distributed under the GNU General Public License. It is primarily used for playing old DOS games.[1]
