Cognitive Speech Services is a feature of the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform. It provides text-to-speech (TTS) services with 270 neural voices in 119 languages and dialects.
History[]
The neural text-to-speech service was demonstrated at Microsoft Ignite in September 2018.[1] Cognitive Speech Services were presented at Microsoft Ignite in November 2021.[2]
Services[]
Free trials are available and pricing models range from pay-as-you-go to batch services. Customized speech models and neural voices can also be created.[3]
