The built-in screensavers of Windows were such beloved features - intriguing the minds of many people who grew up with Windows.
It was quite a surprise to me that, of all places where you might have expected people to write about these iconic screensavers, this wiki didn’t have much about them at all. Just last year, it was not even more than a couple pictures + an entry for Flying Windows.
As someone who always loved the screensavers from across all of Windows history, it’s funny how it fell onto me to make pages for the rest of them. That said, it’s really nice to see a couple of them get Trending on their category page.
I’m quite proud of the compilation screenshots I made for the 3D ones. Speaking of which, I’ll have to fire up a VM to get a good screenshot of 3D Maze when I get to it… there’s nothing I can’t do to make sure these nostalgic little programs get their spotlight.
Just Updated
I recently installed Windows 11 on an unsupported Dell Machine.
The specs were
-Intel Core i3-7100u
-12 GB DDR4 RAM (Upgraded from 8GB)
- Integrated Graphic
- 500GB SATA SSD (Upgraded from 1TB 5400RPM HDD)
I used Rufus to create the ISO file
Let's be honest, the Windows 7 glitch of me having my desktop on the login screen was completely fake. But here's a glitch that actually happened on windows 11 for me, as you can see, the settings app has the opera gx icon for some reason (i did have ogx installed on my pc, and the settings icon was broken multiple times)
(Old Paint3D image ^^)
At least I can still use it after it's removed from the store...
But this app has lots of memories for me and I've started using it for random things again recently.
I inserted a drive into my PC. And when I checked the files, I found 3 folders. I unknowingly clicked on a folder which had .EXE extension on it and I got this message from the antivirus software.
So, I want to know whether it was hacker or a malware software on my PC or just a misunderstanding.......

Actually, The MSN's website name stands for MicroSoft Network.
Does anyone know where I can find the Windows 1.01 logo?
That scared me a lot, but after restarting it worked fine :\
