I'm reporting here because I couldn't find anywhere else to. I'm using an Acer Aspire laptop with Windows 10, and Microsoft Edge is the default browser. It was working good for a while. But, starting yesterday, it lagged pretty hard and now the mouse pointer is not showing on Microsoft Edge as a whole. It appears on the taskbar and every single other application installed, but not on Edge. It's really annoying. If this wiki is even active, someone please help with this.

Hello everyone. I'm here at Microsoft Wiki because I'm sure you all are Windows experts that could help me solve a problem.

The problem is that I'm trying to install update KB4474419 for my Windows 7 SP1 computer (64-bit), but to no avail. I made sure I installed the right update package from the Microsoft update package catalogue site. However, once the update is installed and my PC restarts, it boots into System Restore to revert all the changes.

What can I do to solve the problem? I don't remember using chkdsk or sfc /scannow before trying installing the update, but I think I used the latter and it didn't work.

I have an Asus BIOS (or is it American Megatrends?) and an AMD Athlon II X4 630. If you're wondering why I am trying to install the update, I'm doing this because I want to upgrade my Nvidia graphics drivers.

Not the first time my computer bluescreened, it had the same bluescreen on windows 10.

My Toshiba-brand Windows 8 laptop is telling me it needs to install updates, but i thought Windows 8 support was dropped? Why is it doing so?

So recently I've discovered an original Xbox which has been sitting in a thick cardboard box in a dirty garage for over 10 years, I find the cords, I find games and a controller, when I plug it in, it turns on automatically, then, it immediately turns off, making a fast beep sound, this happens all the time, the power button also doesn't work, but the eject button turns it on and ejects discs.

I can manage to get it running, but sometimes, it turns off during gameplay.

Other than this, the Xbox works just fine.

Any way to fix this?

One time my pc gave me a “automatic repair” and I pressed continue and it worked, but now I am paranoid that my pc would get the “pc needs to repair” screen.

When I went to "Clip Art Sounds" I saw thousands of MIDIs. My favorites were "Jewish Dance" and "Jewish Song". When I came back to it in 2021 I saw two sounds only now: "telephone" and "claps cheers". Can you find/give me a download link to these songs? Here is the photo:

I have a Toshiba Satellite L455 running Windows 7 whenever I try to turn it on it is just a plain black screen I can here the fan and everything but I can only so a plain black screen. Anyone have any idea what is going on??

So in a few minutes i was happy in my pc and i decided to make a full scan of antivirus to check if there is no virus but when i make that the computer started to make weird noises and i see task manager and i see 100% CPU of antivirus. I cancelled the scan but the computer was too slow, the task manager didnt work, the apps dont work, and the pc wont let me to turn it off, after some battle the computer just have a BSOD and restartet normally, now i cant make full scans :/

Ok so: im playing fallout new vegas. i leave a building, and the loading screen starts. after the loading is finished however, the screen goes completely black. i also noticed that my controller is still connected and the xbox light is still on, and green. help?
