This is not an official Microsoft announcement. Windows 12 is not simply going to “Come out This Day Now”. Besides, Windows 11 still has plenty of life ahead of it. If Microsoft is really planning for a 2024 launch like the leaks say, then they’ve learned NOTHING from Windows XP & 10.

There will not be a Windows 12 anytime soon, Windows 11's development is still in it's active phases as of writing this.

Microsoft said they we're going to release updates after 3 years ever since Windows 11 came out.

Incidentally, the only reason we know of that release cycle is because it was leaked. Who knows what Microsoft is thinking now; if they’re reconsidering whether this year is a good time to release Windows 12, or if that rumor was even true to begin with?
