Maybe, but Microsoft switching their releases back to every 3 years was just a rumor as far as I know.
I think they'll begin to make Windows successors far more slowly, six-year gaps like Windows 10 to 11.
Since Microsoft makes many major updates for one Windows version, it's less likely they'll spend so many resources on major Windows releases.
It would also be a good idea since, if the first release of a new OS gets a bad reputation, they have a chance to make it better & more liked with large updates.
